Branch Inventory Control Specialist

The Branch Inventory Control Specialist role is onsite in Rock Springs, WY, with compensation of $22–$27 per hour. The position supports inventory accuracy and customer service at an industrial distribution branch of Industrial Supply. The role maintains reliable stock records and product availability by coordinating inventory control, receiving, shipping, and warehouse organization. It also works with Sales, Purchasing, and Branch Management to reduce dead and slow-moving stock and improve inventory performance.

What you'll do

• Maintain branch inventory accuracy
• conduct cycle counts
• investigate discrepancies and process inventory adjustments in the ERP
• monitor stock levels and coordinate with purchasing and management
• verify and record incoming shipments
• pick, pack, and prepare customer orders
• coordinate deliveries and shipping documentation
• maintain a safe, organized warehouse
• operate forklifts and pallet jacks as required
• participate in physical inventory counts and audits
• support inventory and process improvements.

Why this role
