The Early Childhood and Kindergarten Teacher works onsite in Tucson, AZ; pay is $16.45–$18 per hour. The role is with Sweet P’s Hybrid Microschool, serving approximately 11–13 students from Pre-K through first grade in a small, multi-age classroom. This growth position provides classroom teaching experience and mentorship as the teacher plans and delivers lessons, differentiates instruction, and supports students’ foundational learning and development. The teacher also tracks progress, communicates with families, and collaborates with the Director to improve instruction and the microschool program.

What you'll do

• Plan and deliver lessons for Pre-K through first-grade students
• differentiate instruction to student academic levels and learning styles
• foster a positive and nurturing classroom
• support foundational skills in reading, writing, mathematics, science, social studies, and character development
• assess progress and maintain records
• communicate with families
• supervise students during instruction, outdoor play, meals, and transitions
• maintain a safe and organized learning environment
• collaborate with the Director
• follow Arizona licensing, health, and safety requirements.
