The TIG Welder (2nd Shift) is an onsite role based in Syracuse, NY. Compensation is $27.00 – $30.00 per hour plus a $2/hour shift differential. This role supports the production of investment castings for the aerospace and industrial markets. This role exists to perform Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) on investment castings to meet customer specifications. The welder contributes to the team by ensuring high-quality repairs and cosmetic upgrades, supporting the company's commitment to precision and reliability.

What you'll do

• Perform GTAW welding for rework, repair, and cosmetic upgrade in accordance with customer specifications.
• Evaluate castings to ensure preparation is adequate.
• Assess the condition of castings to determine weld technique.
• Perform additional weld preparation using die and belt grinders.
• Operate and maintain welding machines and equipment.
• Document weld locations and dimensions.
• Identify and implement improvement opportunities through lean tools.
