The Licensed Texas Professional Engineer (PE) – Water & Wastewater Project Leader role is hybrid in Jacksonville, TX, with approximately 2–3 office days per week and remote flexibility based on workload and project needs. Compensation is not specified. The role supports a Texas civil engineering firm serving municipalities, rural water supply organizations, public-sector entities, and utility clients.

What you'll do

• Review, design, and seal Texas civil engineering plans for water and wastewater infrastructure. Lead projects through planning, design, permitting, bidding, construction support, and closeout
• manage TCEQ submittals and regulatory coordination
• develop bid packages
• review contractor submissions
• serve as an engineering contact for clients and stakeholders
• coordinate design resources
• and provide technical guidance or mentorship as appropriate. Travel throughout Texas is required.
