Workers’ Compensation Paralegal

The Workers’ Compensation Paralegal role is onsite five days per week at the firm’s Midtown Manhattan office in New York, NY, paying $26–$31 per hour. The paralegal manages claimant-side workers’ compensation matters from intake through resolution, coordinating client communications, records, filings, hearings, and deadlines. The work supports the legal team’s representation of injured clients and requires English and Spanish communication.

What you'll do

• Manage workers’ compensation matters from intake through resolution
• conduct client intakes and gather documents
• communicate with clients, carriers, medical providers, and other parties
• obtain medical records
• prepare correspondence, settlement documents, agreements, and hearing requests
• file hearing requests and monitor cases in WCB eCase
• coordinate IME notices and depositions
• track deadlines and maintain case records
• communicate in English and Spanish.
