Equipment Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Equipment Maintenance Technician role is onsite at shipyards and customer facilities in Groton, CT. The posting lists pay of $25–$30 per hour. What you'll do

• Install, connect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical and mechanical systems
• test and maintain machinery controls
• assess motors, transformers, generators, and electronic controllers
• perform and document preventive maintenance
• advise management of equipment issues and make timely repairs
• replace electrical components and wiring
• repair or replace mechanical components
• set up and test equipment before projects and disconnect it at completion.
