Sustainable Design Analyst

Job overview

The Sustainable Design Analyst role is onsite in Los Angeles, CA. Pay is $65,000–$85,000 per year, depending on skills and experience. The analyst supports ZGF Architects’ project teams working on building performance and sustainable design. The analyst develops and communicates sustainability analyses and strategies with architecture teams, consultants, and clients. The work supports project performance goals, certification efforts, and design decisions across projects in the United States and Canada.

What you'll do

• Develop sustainable design strategies with architecture teams, consultants, and clients
• support building-performance projects
• assist with WELL, LEED, Living Building Challenge, and Zero Carbon certification
• lead project life-cycle assessments
• perform analyses such as daylighting, solar shading, thermal comfort, energy, carbon intensity, and material health
• communicate findings through graphics and data
• research sustainable products and materials
• improve analysis workflows
• train design staff on project analyses.
