The worker performs construction, installation, and maintenance tasks and operates equipment to keep storm drain infrastructure reliable. The role also observes and reports community conditions and participates in assigned sanitation maintenance duties and on-call rotations.

What you'll do

• Operate heavy equipment and vehicles to construct, maintain, and repair the storm drain system
• clean and maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment
• observe and report conditions around the City
• follow work-zone and equipment safety procedures
• perform Sanitation Maintenance Worker duties on a rotational basis
• participate in assigned compensated on-call and uncompensated standby rotations, responding to the work site within one hour.

Why this role
