What you'll do

• Prepare treatment rooms and patients
• sterilize and deliver instruments
• assist the dentist with instruments and materials
• expose and develop radiographic studies
• support temporary restorations and removable appliance care
• maintain emergency supplies and CPR certification
• provide oral hygiene and postoperative instructions
• chart care
• protect confidential information
• maintain equipment and supply inventories
• and follow infection-control procedures.
