Job overview

The Community Outreach Specialist works onsite in the greater Toledo area, serving schools and community centers around Maumee, Ohio. This part-time role offers up to 20 hours per week, with flexible weekday hours between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM; occasional weekend availability is a plus. Pay is $16.50 per hour. Girl Scouts of Western Ohio delivers programs intended to help girls build skills and confidence. The role facilitates Girl Scout Leadership Experience programs in assigned schools and communities, builds local partnerships, supports volunteers, and uses evaluation results to adjust program delivery. Its purpose is to expand participation and engagement while helping the council meet membership and program goals.

What you'll do

  • Facilitate Girl Scout series programs in assigned Title I schools and areas
  • collaborate with schools, community organizations, and networks to increase visibility and opportunities
  • support volunteers in program delivery
  • monitor evaluation results and adjust delivery
  • lead community and school-based education sessions
  • communicate by email, edit documents, and track membership registrations
  • work toward outreach goals.
