Food Service Worker (Part-Time)

Job overview

The Food Service Worker is an onsite, part-time position in Reading, PA, with a Monday–Friday schedule and hours that may vary. Compensation is $15.00–$16.00 per hour. The role supports food service at the Penske location and contributes to Eurest’s foodservice operations. The worker prepares, presents, and serves food while maintaining safe, sanitary work areas and following recipes, portion standards, and inventory and cash-control procedures. The position also supports customer service and responds to customer concerns by relaying relevant information to a supervisor.

What you'll do

• Prepare ingredients and measure designated items
• transport and store food according to safety and rotation procedures
• clean work areas, equipment, and utensils
• distribute supplies and equipment
• follow recipes and production standards
• serve customers
• relay customer concerns to supervisors
• follow sanitation, safety, inventory, and cash-control procedures.
