Shift Leader

The Shift Leader role is onsite in Gainesville, VA, with pay of $17–$19 per hour. The position supports the Smashburger restaurant team and its goal of serving better burgers through service, support, and teamwork. The shift leader guides front- and back-of-house employees and helps maintain consistent restaurant operations, food safety, and guest service. The role supports training, daily checklists, inventory and cash procedures, and labor management.

What you'll do

• Manage front- and back-of-house employee performance

• recognize performance
• complete line, uniform, opening, closing, safe, and deposit checks
• monitor guest experience metrics
• maintain food safety and operational standards
• demonstrate guest service
• follow food ordering and inventory procedures
• follow cash policies
• manage daily labor.
