Junior Product Designer

The Junior Product Designer role is an in-office position in Pico Rivera, CA, with compensation of $60,000–$65,000 per year. The designer joins the Anirollz and Hakongee Brand Team at WSLicensing, Inc. to develop plush toys and character-based consumer products. The role contributes to product development from concept through production by creating designs, preparing production-ready artwork, reviewing samples, researching trends, and coordinating with product development, marketing, production, and quality assurance teams. Its work helps translate brand direction into practical products while maintaining the brands’ identity.

What you'll do

• Develop concepts for plush toys and character-based products
• collaborate on product ideas
• create sketches, designs, color variations, artwork, and mockups
• revise designs based on feedback and production needs
• prepare vectorized artwork, production files, specifications, and visual references
• assist with material, fabric, color, and finish selection
• participate in prototype and sample reviews
• research product and market trends
• manage assigned design tasks, files, and documentation
• coordinate with product development, marketing, production, and quality assurance.
