What you'll do

• Review menus before food preparation
• inspect special-diet trays
• complete required forms and reports
• coordinate food service with other departments
• work with the facility dietitian on recommended changes
• prepare and serve meals according to menus and portion procedures
• prepare therapeutic-diet food and bedtime snacks
• follow sanitation, safety, and infection-control procedures
• maintain food and supply availability
• assist with inventory and storage.
