Machinist Technician, CNC

The Machinist Technician role is onsite in Ogden, UT, with pay of $40 per hour. The position is based at the Commercial Flight Controls Division facility. The machinist produces precision parts by setting up and operating conventional and numerically controlled machines, interpreting engineering information, and inspecting finished work. The role also supports productivity and quality goals through troubleshooting, equipment care, lean initiatives, and guidance for less experienced team members.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate conventional and numerically controlled machining centers
• work from blueprints, sketches, planning sheets, and engineering information
• run multiple machines
• make complex setups
• troubleshoot machining problems
• inspect parts with precision measuring instruments
• maintain equipment
• perform statistical process control
• contribute to lean initiatives
• guide workload priorities
• train and mentor less experienced team members.
