Subsurface Utility Engineering Technician — Levels 1–3

Job overview

The Subsurface Utility Engineering Technician role is based in Boston, MA, with a mix of field and office-based projects. Pay is $25–$35 per hour. What you'll do

• Operate data collectors and collect utility designation measurements
• download field data and prepare sketches
• research existing utility lines
• perform field surveys for Levels A, B, and C using electromagnetic locating equipment, ground-penetrating radar, vacuum excavation, and video systems
• communicate professionally with customers onsite
• maintain assigned vehicle and equipment.
