The Echo Sonographer, Cardiac Testing role is onsite across Columbus, Westerville, and Reynoldsburg, OH, with compensation not specified. The position supports Central Ohio Primary Care’s cardiac testing services. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4 p.m. The sonographer performs resting and stress echocardiograms, prepares equipment, analyzes and reports exam results, and enters test data for cardiologist review. The role also maintains study documentation and electronic health records while supporting safety, quality control, and department accreditation.

What you'll do

• Obtain patient medical histories and explain examinations
• set up equipment and perform resting and stress echocardiograms according to department accreditation and cardiologist guidelines
• analyze and report cardiac exam results
• enter test data for cardiologist review
• implement safety and quality control procedures
• participate in lifesaving measures when necessary
• assist with phones and patient charts
• participate in department ICAEL accreditation reviews.

Why this role

Requires graduation from an accredited ultrasound program that includes echocardiography, RDCS registration through ARDMS or RCS through CCI, and BLS certification. Three to five years of healthcare experience is preferred.
