The Medical Assistant – Float Pediatrics role is onsite in Escondido, CA, with assignments at clinics in Escondido and San Marcos, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Pay is $24.95–$34.93 per hour, with an additional $2.00-per-hour float differential. This role supports providers, advanced providers, and registered nurses by delivering patient-centered clinical care and coordinating clinic workflows. The float assistant helps maintain timely, well-documented care across pediatrics and other departments as needed.

What you'll do

• Communicate with patients
• take vital signs and intake information
• perform blood draws, vaccinations, nebulizer treatments, ear lavages, and EKGs
• provide patient education
• prepare and stock exam rooms
• coordinate provider workflows
• use electronic health records to process and document treatment plans
• convey provider-directed information
• and support clinics in Escondido and San Marcos.
