What you'll do

• Set up and operate punch press equipment according to job specifications
• load metal blanks or coils and align dies and feeds
• make basic machine adjustments
• read and follow blueprints, work orders, and inspection plans
• monitor press performance and conduct in-process quality checks
• complete production records and downtime logs
• use required personal protective equipment
• assist with die changes and minor preventive maintenance.
