What you'll do

• Prepare patients for radiology procedures
• triage patients, take vital signs, enter information into the EMR, and conduct drug screens
• operate digital radiology equipment to produce diagnostic x-ray images as directed by physicians
• use Image Gently-equipped x-ray equipment for pediatric imaging
• review procedure orders and prepare supplies
• set up and stock procedure rooms and trays
• document patient concerns, messages, and care in medical records
• sterilize and package surgical instruments
• assist with inventory, ordering, and restocking
• administer medications specifically directed by a physician and accurately measure and document vital signs.
