Job overview

The Food Expeditor / Food Runner role is onsite in Alexandria, LA, at a new Applebee’s and IHOP dual-brand restaurant. Pay is $12–$18 per hour. The opening team supports food service across both restaurant menus and dayparts. The expeditor checks orders for accuracy and presentation, coordinates items before they leave the kitchen, and runs food to the correct tables. The role helps keep kitchen and dining room operations moving while providing friendly guest service.

What you'll do

• Review completed orders for accuracy and presentation
• organize food before it leaves the kitchen
• match items to guest orders
• run food to tables
• support Applebee’s and IHOP menu operations
• communicate with kitchen staff, servers, and managers
• maintain a clean expo area
• assist with food running during breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
