The role contributes to coordinated diagnosis, treatment, patient education, and ongoing disease management, with participation in research opportunities when available.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and treat hematologic disorders and solid tumor malignancies
• manage patients receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapies, and supportive treatments
• conduct consultations and ongoing disease management
• review laboratory, pathology, imaging, and molecular and genetic testing
• collaborate with other clinicians
• participate in tumor boards and quality improvement
• educate patients
• maintain electronic medical records
• and participate in shared call coverage. Clinical research participation is available when opportunities arise. Requires an MD or DO, internal medicine residency, hematology/oncology fellowship, board certification or eligibility, and an active New York medical license or eligibility.
