The Test Technician I - 2nd Shift position is onsite in Aurora, OH. Compensation is $30 per hour. LayerZero Power Systems provides power distribution solutions for critical industries, including data centers, financial services, computer service providers, and semiconductor manufacturing. The technician performs production and product testing to verify electrical equipment performance, reliability, and readiness. Testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and support for minor repairs contribute to dependable power systems used in mission-critical environments.

What you'll do

• Perform pre-power-up inspections
• conduct functional testing up to 600VAC and inspect electrical/electronic equipment
• perform burn-in and stress testing
• assist with troubleshooting AC and DC power and control circuits up to 600V
• help with minor repairs to control, power, and fiber optic assemblies, including wiring, crimping, and routing
• set up and assist with programming electronic devices
• complete test reports
• use hand tools and test equipment
• follow testing procedures and work instructions
• report complex issues.

Why this role

Second-shift position; associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, equivalent military electrical training, or at least two years of relevant electrical testing experience required; hands-on electrical test equipment experience and ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
