Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Dunbar, WV, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pay is $17 per hour. The position is temporary to permanent and supports maintenance of housing units and property grounds. The technician prepares units for incoming tenants, responds to work orders, and performs routine property upkeep and basic repairs. This work helps maintain safe, functional housing and grounds for residents and incoming tenants.

What you'll do

• Prepare housing units for incoming tenants
• respond to maintenance requests and complete work orders
• perform routine grounds maintenance
• assist with basic drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs
• use and maintain basic hand tools
• maintain property and equipment safety
• communicate work-order status to supervisors
• complete additional assigned maintenance duties.
