The Medical Assistant role is onsite in South Bend, IN, full-time, with a day shift. Pay is $18.30–$22.86 per hour. The Medical Assistant supports patient visits and the clinic’s quality-of-care goals by preparing patients, assisting providers with examinations and procedures, performing specified tests, maintaining records and supplies, and processing laboratory results.

What you'll do

• Escort patients to examination rooms, provide information, collect patient information, obtain vital signs, and update medical histories
• assist with examinations, minor surgeries, EKGs, hearing and vision tests, and nebulizer treatments
• perform venipunctures, immunizations, and listed point-of-care tests
• prepare and send specimens for testing, maintain related logs, record and process results, update the electronic medical record, follow up on TB and immunizations, inventory supplies, and sterilize instruments.
