The Substitute Bus Driver role is onsite in Erie, PA. Compensation is $24 per hour, with a guaranteed minimum of four hours’ pay daily, including for shorter routes. Child Development Centers, Inc. provides transportation for students to and from its centers. The driver operates an agency-routed school bus and is responsible for student safety throughout each trip. Daily inspections, compliance with traffic and safety rules, emergency procedures, and bus cleanliness help ensure dependable transportation.

What you'll do

• Safely transport students to and from centers on agency-established routes
• follow traffic laws and regulations
• complete daily pre- and post-trip inspections
• follow safety and emergency procedures, including routine evacuation drills
• maintain a clean bus interior and clean windows, windshield, and exterior lights
• promote safety to students in a kind, courteous, and educational manner.
