The After-School Enrichment Team Member role is onsite in Jacksonville, FL, and pays $15 per hour. It is a part-time position for 15–20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, on the afternoon shift. Communities In Schools Jacksonville works with students and schools to help young people stay on track for graduation and prepare for life. The team member supervises students, provides tutoring assistance, and leads planned enrichment activities while supporting a safe, positive after-school environment. The role helps students learn and succeed through consistent engagement and relationships with students, families, school staff, and program leaders.

What you'll do

• Supervise students in the program
• provide academic tutoring assistance to students who struggle academically
• carry out planned enrichment activities and engage with students
• assist with special events and snack and dinner service
• maintain positive relationships with program managers, lead teachers, school faculty, parents, and students
• serve as a positive role model. CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications, child-abuse prevention training within 30 days, and 40 hours of DCF training within 90 days are specified.

Why this role
