Day Treatment Specialist

The Day Treatment Specialist works on site in Morganton, North Carolina. Pay is $20.50–$22.50 per hour. The role supports Focus Behavioral Health’s day treatment program and its work with clients, families, and school personnel. The position helps deliver individualized psycho-educational and therapeutic support, monitor client progress, and maintain a positive learning environment. It contributes to client care through supervision, documentation, collaboration, and participation in program quality improvement.

What you'll do

• Learn and use agency and state-mandated programs
• plan and implement daily psycho-educational activities
• support progress on individualized Person-Centered Plans through role modeling and teaching
• follow program and school policies
• use the crisis call tree
• attend or co-facilitate multi-family events
• participate in quality improvement, training, and staff meetings
• document daily notes within 12 hours
• provide line-of-sight supervision
• assist school personnel with academic curriculum and a therapeutic learning environment.
