The Product Owner — Insurance Technology role is onsite in Chicago, IL. Compensation is $100,000–$130,000 per year. The product owner coordinates business and technology delivery by managing backlogs, facilitating Agile/Scrum ceremonies, tracking delivery metrics, and aligning stakeholders. Clear requirements, prioritized work, timely reviews, and cross-team coordination help technology teams deliver business initiatives predictably.

What you'll do

• Own, refine, and prioritize product and technical backlogs
• gather and document business and technical requirements
• create epics, user stories, technical stories, and acceptance criteria in Jira
• facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies
• coordinate blockers, risks, and dependencies
• track team capacity, velocity, sprint commitments, and delivery metrics
• maintain Jira dashboards and reports
• review completed work against requirements
• coordinate UAT when required
• communicate delivery progress, risks, and timeline changes
• support release planning and cross-team coordination.
