The School Counselor role is onsite in Glendale, AZ, with a salary range of $48,000–$55,000 per year. The counselor provides prevention, intervention, and collaborative support for students’ academic, social-emotional, and behavioral success. The role works with students, families, teachers, administrators, and community partners to identify barriers to learning, coordinate supports, respond to crises, and evaluate counseling programs and interventions.

What you'll do

• Provide individual, small-group, and classroom counseling
• develop and implement a comprehensive school counseling program
• deliver preventive social-emotional learning lessons and interventions
• identify students needing support and develop intervention plans
• collaborate with school staff, families, and community partners
• participate in MTSS, Child Study Team, IEP, and 504 meetings
• assess students and monitor progress
• conduct crisis and risk assessments, safety planning, and follow-up
• serve on the Crisis Response Team
• connect students and families with resources
• maintain counseling records and analyze data to evaluate program effectiveness.
