The Float Phlebotomist / Front Desk role is onsite across offices in Chevy Chase, Bethesda, North Bethesda, and Silver Spring, Maryland. Compensation is $24.25–$26.25 per hour. One Medical provides primary care, in-office and virtual care, and laboratory services. The role combines venipuncture and clinical support with patient intake and front-desk service. By supporting specimen handling, scheduling, and office operations, the Patient Care Specialist helps remove barriers to care and provide a positive in-office experience.

What you'll do

• Provide patient intake and manage same-day schedules and follow-up scheduling
• perform venipuncture
• assist with non-blood specimen collection, EKGs/ECGs, vitals, ear lavages, vaccines, PPD tests, and swabs
• label, handle, and process specimens
• maintain inventory and sterilize tools
• answer patient messages and follow up on lab cases
• perform check-in/check-out and insurance verification
• support office upkeep and opening and closing duties.
