The Enterprise Performance Engineering Architect and Lead — SAP & CRM Integration role is hybrid, with remote work and onsite presence required approximately one week per month; the listing location is Harrisburg, PA. Pay is $96–$106 per hour. The role supports the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission’s Journi program. The role leads performance engineering and load testing to assess scalability, stability, and production readiness across enterprise applications and integrations. It establishes testing strategy and standards, identifies performance risks, and provides analysis and recommendations that support reliable program delivery.

What you'll do

• Define and lead performance engineering strategy for the Journi program
• establish testing standards, governance, methodologies, and best practices
• define non-functional requirements, service objectives and agreements, and acceptance criteria
• lead performance planning across program phases
• review architecture for scalability risks and bottlenecks
• lead testing across SAP, CRM, APIs, middleware, batch processes, portals, mobile applications, IVR, and chatbots
• define workload models
• establish monitoring strategies
• conduct root-cause analysis and recommend tuning and scaling
• lead NeoLoad implementation and automated regression testing
• develop dashboards and executive reports
• maintain technical documentation.
