The In-Home Caregiver works onsite in Waynesboro, VA, for $13.75–$17 per hour. The role provides one-on-one personal care for a client who needs assistance with activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living. AmeriCare Plus is an established personal care agency with more than 30 years of service. The caregiver supports the client’s daily well-being through personal care, mobility assistance, meal preparation, medication reminders, companionship, and light housekeeping, while monitoring and reporting changes in health or behavior.

What you'll do

• Assist with hygiene, grooming, bathing, mobility, and transfers
• prepare light meals
• provide medication reminders, companionship, and emotional support
• perform light housekeeping
• monitor and report changes in client health or behavior.
