What you'll do

• Receive, review, and process electronic and faxed admissions documents
• verify insurance coverage and communicate information to nursing and admissions teams
• complete and document insurance pre-certifications
• maintain documentation and close out S-Faxes
• time-stamp and organize documents
• assist with hospital codes and emergencies as needed
• protect patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA
• collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• support departmental projects and administrative duties.
