What you'll do

• Perform engineering assignments involving installation, operation, testing, and maintenance of solar inverters and battery storage technologies
• lead complex field engineering assignments
• explain project technical scope to customers
• create and update troubleshooting and maintenance procedures
• train customers, vendors, and internal personnel
• coordinate technical documents and training with R&D engineering in China
• lead root-cause reports and track technical issues
• analyze failures and report trends
• provide design-improvement feedback to R&D
• troubleshoot and test electrical and electronic systems in the field or laboratory
• investigate solar plant, battery, inverter, and grid-transient issues
• work with customer SCADA engineers on communications and parameters
• research alternative components
• coordinate with engineering, logistics, finance, and program management
• assist with service-center repairs.
