• Answer and process emergency, non-emergency, and interfacility transport calls
• gather and verify call and patient details
• enter and update information in CAD
• use approved Emergency Medical Dispatch protocols for applicable 911 calls
• identify interfacility transport priorities
• communicate changes and safety concerns to dispatchers
• document unusual circumstances and escalations
• protect confidential information
• and participate in training and quality review.
