What you'll do
- Generate CAM programs for manufacturing
- program sheet-metal parts for Amada and Trump turret presses
- create CAD/CAM programs using Inventor and/or AutoCAD DWG and DXF files
- handle CAM department inquiries
- review project packets
- prepare art, die, fabrication, and submittal drawings
- prepare full-size paper templates
- help maintain engineering drafting standards
- recommend improvements to programming and run time
- communicate with production staff, engineers, sales staff, architects, and installing contractors.
