The counselor supports a school-age care program under the direction of the School Age Child Care Director, Child Care Director, or Site Director. The stated schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:45 a.m.–9:00 a.m., with some flexibility for half-day closings, holidays, or morning care needs.

What you'll do

• Follow health and safety guidelines
• support arrivals, dismissals, and accurate attendance records
• supervise and interact with children during indoor and outdoor activities and trips
• prepare and implement group activities
• maintain program equipment and supplies
• follow emergency procedures and report incidents
• communicate with parents
• attend required training and meetings.
