Job overview

The Direct Support Professional works onsite in Mesa, AZ, with compensation of $15.15–$16 per hour. The role supports residents with developmental disabilities in Embrace Life Services’ group-home setting. The professional provides individualized care and engagement that promotes residents’ independence, dignity, and community involvement. The role also supports daily living, activities, health and safety, and accurate communication with families and care teams.

What you'll do

• Provide personal care and daily-living assistance based on individualized care plans
• assist with meals, medication, hygiene, and mobility as needed
• plan and support activities and outings
• document resident activities, progress, incidents, and care
• monitor health and report concerns
• follow safety and emergency procedures
• communicate with supervisors, families, and healthcare providers.
