The Food and Nutrition Services Aide role is onsite in Arvada, Colorado, at Arbor View Senior Living. Compensation is $17.29–$20 per hour. The senior living facility’s food services support residents through meal preparation and service in a long-term care and assisted living setting. The aide assists with food preparation and meal delivery, checks diet trays, serves residents, and keeps dining and work areas clean and sanitary. The role also helps ensure supplies are ready, handles dishes and utensils, and distributes and collects menus as needed.

What you'll do

• Assist the cook with meal preparation and portion control
• set up and deliver meal trays and food carts
• help check diet trays before distribution
• serve food in the dining room
• ensure supplies for the next meal are available
• clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, floors, dishes, and utensils
• remove trays
• wash dishes
• distribute and collect menus as needed.
