The Software Developer and Site Reliability Engineer — Cloud Platform role is hybrid in Sunnyvale, CA, with three days onsite per week and compensation of $120,000–$130,000 per year. The role joins a Cloud Platform team building and operating scalable services on AWS. The engineer combines software development and site reliability practices to build cloud-native platform components, improve service reliability and efficiency, and support enterprise workloads across cloud environments.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain AWS cloud-native services and platform components
• apply monitoring, alerting, incident response, capacity planning, and on-call support practices
• develop automation and services primarily in Python and/or Go
• manage and troubleshoot databases
• operate OpenSearch clusters
• automate infrastructure provisioning with Ansible
• improve scalability, performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
• participate in postmortems and root-cause analysis
• and support AliCloud workloads.
