Senior Test Engineer

The Senior Test Engineer is an onsite position at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX. Compensation is $112,000–$140,000 per year. The role directly supports the Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division within the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center. The engineer provides technical and engineering support for major information technology test and evaluation efforts. Through test planning, execution, analysis, and reporting, the role helps assess software releases and test environments and provides recommendations to program test leadership.

What you'll do

• Develop test concepts, methodologies, plans, and reports
• execute tests and analyze data
• conduct end-user operational testing
• use Design of Experiments methods
• prepare criteria, analyses, specifications, cost estimates, plans, and technical reports
• evaluate test results and environments
• coordinate release schedules and provide analysis and recommendations to the program test lead.
