The Maintenance Technician – Industrial Equipment role is onsite in Florence, KY, with rotating 12-hour day or night schedules. The stated hourly wage range is $27.70–$35.00. Signode manufactures transit packaging products and equipment used to protect goods in transit. The technician maintains safe, efficient production and facility operations by troubleshooting and repairing equipment, completing preventive maintenance, and supporting equipment quality and productivity after repairs and changeovers.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment
• maintain production machines and facility equipment
• inspect assigned equipment during preventive maintenance and report findings
• complete work orders and update the maintenance tracking system
• identify and recommend corrections for electrical issues using knowledge of drives and PLCs
• verify machine productivity and quality after repairs, changeovers, and downtime
• maintain repair supplies inventory
• address immediate safety hazards
• maintain building utilities, ventilation, housekeeping, and plumbing
• communicate issues to group leaders and the maintenance manager.
