The Activities Coordinator role is onsite in Burlington, NC, and pays $17.85–$23.29 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at Piedmont Health SeniorCare in Burlington. The PACE program helps seniors maintain independence and continue living at home through coordinated, personalized care and related services. The coordinator organizes general group activities that are not part of treatment plans and manages activity supplies, crafts, and games. By learning participants’ interests and coordinating engaging activities, the role supports the PACE Recreation team while therapeutic plans and interventions remain the responsibility of a Licensed Recreational Therapist.

What you'll do

• Organize general group activities not associated with treatment plans
• manage inventory of activity supplies, crafts, and games
• interview participants about interests and hobbies
• work effectively with elderly participants with varying mental competence and physical disabilities
• communicate participant responses, reactions, and behavior orally and in writing
• collaborate with the team and meet position competencies before working independently.
