Join Constellation as a Plant Mechanic responsible for the inspection, maintenance, testing, and repair of plant equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and safety in their Combined Heat and Power Facility.

What you'll do

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance and minor repair on plant equipment.
• Assist in planning and scheduling work for outages.
• Assist in the administration and execution of the preventative maintenance program.
• Follow all approved plant operating, maintenance and health and safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain and monitor safe working conditions.
• Performs mechanical installations, repairs, and replacements.
• Complete on-time delivery of maintenance services.
• Perform maintenance tasks such as lubrication, inspection, mechanical alignment, and vibration monitoring.
• Source parts, manage inventory, and coordinate with other trade personnel or contractors.
• Work overtime on a regular basis.

What we're looking for

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

High school diploma or equivalent; 5-years power plant or industrial plant, I & C maintenance experience; Technical training through a trade school or military program; Strong mechanical aptitude, basic steam plant and combustion turbine knowledge; Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.
