Activities Assistant

Job overview

The Activities Assistant role is onsite in South Bend, IN, with stated pay of $15–$17 per hour. The position supports residents’ quality of life and well-being at Healthwin Health and Rehabilitation. The role assists the Activities Director with meaningful recreation, social activities, and individual engagement, while also helping with resident transportation and facility outings. What you'll do

• Assist with planning and leading resident activities
• encourage participation while respecting individual preferences and abilities
• provide one-on-one engagement
• prepare activity areas for events
• accompany residents on outings and appointments
• operate the facility bus or van when needed
• complete vehicle safety checks
• assist residents entering and exiting vehicles
• document attendance and transportation
• communicate resident interests and participation to the Activities Director and care team
• maintain a clean and safe activity environment.
