The Top-Secret Senior FOIA Analyst role is onsite in Suitland, MD, supporting the Joint Staff Declassification Branch within the Information Management Division. Compensation is not specified. The work supports a federal government client’s declassification mission. The analyst conducts document-level reviews across declassification and records processes, including ADR, MDR, FRUS, FOIA, and Special Review. The role helps ensure records are reviewed, documented, archived, and handled in accordance with applicable executive orders, instructions, classification guides, and statutes, while also providing guidance and quality assurance support to junior analysts as needed.

What you'll do

• Conduct line-by-line document-level declassification reviews across ADR, MDR, FRUS, FOIA, and Special Review
• process short-suspense Special Review requests
• assist with FOIA and MDR searches and recommend responses with rationale
• prepare reports
• archive completed actions within five business days while maintaining a 99% acceptable quality level
• maintain branch databases
• provide guidance and quality assurance support to junior analysts as needed.
