Machine Helper – 1st Shift

The Machine Helper role is onsite in Columbus, OH, with compensation of $19 per hour. The position supports Hood Container’s corrugated-product manufacturing process, serving customers in food-grade, medical-grade, and retail industries. The helper works with a production crew to support the process of making corrugated products from paper sheets through finished boxes. The role contributes to production, quality, safety, and service goals by following instructions, maintaining an organized work area, and completing assigned production tasks.

What you'll do

• Follow supervisor instructions
• work with the crew as a helper
• keep the work area clean and organized
• complete assigned tasks at piece-rate speed
• cross-train as needed
• complete production, safety, and quality reports
• submit equipment work orders
• follow company safety and housekeeping procedures
• read a tape measure.

Why this role
