• Receive, inspect, distribute, and track inventory
• control equipment and fixed asset records and prepare annual reports for the state auditor
• develop and enforce inventory and salvage disposal procedures
• monitor surplus property
• evaluate inventory systems and recommend improvements
• conduct physical audits statewide
• coordinate with field offices and warehouses
• advise and train staff on inventory procedures.
