The Registered Dietitian role is onsite in Rogers City, MI. Compensation is not specified. The position supports resident care at MediLodge of Rogers City, part of a provider of long-term care skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation services. This role assesses and plans residents’ nutritional care in accordance with applicable standards and regulations. Working with the Food Service Director or Manager and the interdisciplinary team, the dietitian helps ensure individualized nutrition plans and quality food service for residents.

What you'll do

• Assess and plan residents’ nutritional care
• maintain accurate and timely clinical nutrition documentation
• participate in interdisciplinary care planning and communicate resident concerns and responses
• involve residents and families in care goals
• coordinate therapeutic menus and diet orders with the Food Service Director or Manager
• monitor food quality, temperatures, meals, nourishments, and supplements
• inspect food service areas
• participate in long-term care surveys
• assist with purchasing and Nutrition Services employee training.

Why this role

$5,000 sign-on bonus paid over two years, with limited-time availability. Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field and Registered Dietitian registration are required; state-mandated license or certification is required. ServSafe certification and long-term care or geriatric nutrition experience are preferred.
